How an oversize move runs

The paperwork happens before the truck moves.

  1. 01

    Dimensions and route

Length, width, height, weight and both site addresses. We build the permitted route and check the bridges, overheads and the turn into the site.

  2. 02

    Permits and escorts

Permits in every state on the route, escorts booked where the state requires them, and a written quote with both as line items.

  3. 03

    Load, secure, deliver

Chains and binders to FMCSA cargo-securement rules, securement photographed before departure, tracked to the site, POD the same day.

Send dimensions first. Length, width, height, weight and the two site addresses decide everything else: the trailer, the permit path, whether escorts are required, and whether the move happens at night. A quote without those numbers is a guess, and we would rather not give you one.

Questions equipment owners ask

Straight answers

How heavy and how big can you go?

Standard legal on a step deck, and up to [max weight / dimensions] on the RGN lowboy with permits. Send dimensions and weight and we will tell you the permit path, the escort requirement and the cost before you commit.

Who pulls the permits?

We do, in every state the route crosses, and we build the permitted route before we quote so the price you get is the price the load actually costs.

Do you arrange escorts?

Yes, through vetted pilot-car operators where the state requires them. Escort cost is a line on the quote, not a surprise on the invoice.

Can you do a route survey?

For anything with a height or width problem we survey the route: bridges, overheads, turns into the site, and the crane or ramp situation at both ends.

Have a machine to move?

Length, width, height, weight, both addresses and the date window.
